THE GHASTLY HISTORIAN

Pictured above are the Eddy homestead, located in Chittenden, Vermont, and the Eddy brothers (William, left, and Horatio, right). Both were well-known spiritualists in the 1860s and 1870s. There is a good newspaper article written by the Burlington Free Press in 1976 that gives a good history of the Eddy brothers and the timeline of the Eddy homestead, which will serve as the weekly image summary – the article is in two parts.
